Configuring Sonic Queue
A Sonic Queue device is configured through the Sonic Queue device editor in the DDS. To be able to open the Sonic Queue editor, you must have the CxDdsSonicQEditors.dll file registered on your computer in the CygNet\Support directory.
Once the driver has been successfully installed, a new SonicQ device can be created in the DDS. The topics below describe the configuration options. For on-screen help, hold the mouse over any field or button to view the tooltip with more information.
The Sonic Queue EIE interface contains three pages: Device, Configuration, and Post Process. Each page is described in subsequent topics.
- The Device page contains general information about the Sonic Queue device such as device descriptors, logging, and security options. See Configuring General Device Properties.
- The Configuration page defines the Sonic Queue mode and broker information, and what will be included in the import or export. See Configuring the Import or Export Process.
- The Post Process page describes what action to take after an import or export operation has completed. See Configuring the Post Process.
